About the school

Handong Global University, founded in 1995 in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province, is a Christian private university renowned for pioneering Korea's open-major system, allowing students to freely choose their major in their sophomore year regardless of academic track. With students from approximately 60 countries, around 40% of courses taught in English, and fully English-track programs available, it offers a genuinely international campus experience.
