About the school

Chungbuk National University (CBNU), established in 1951, is a comprehensive public university in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, covering a broad spectrum of disciplines from humanities and social sciences to engineering and medicine. Its Office of International Affairs (OIA) offers end-to-end support for international students—admissions, visa processing, dormitory, and language programs—while the School of International Studies and G-Cruit program provide English-medium degree pathways.
